Coaches and Safety
Your child's safety is always an uppermost concern. All coaches undergo criminal background checks via USATF. We attempt to keep the athlete to coach ratio less than 15:1. All practices occur in a secured area. All coaches report to the board of directors and their performance is evaluated annually.

The Organization
Troutdale Track Club is an Oregon non-profit corporation. We have applied for the IRS 501(c) tax exempt, charitable status.

Board of Directors
Troutdale Track Club's Board of Directors meets regularly and is charged with setting goals, developing the budget, fundraising, and working closely with TTC families and our community.

The Founder

Troutdale Track Club was formed in 2007 by Dennis Spencer MD. Dennis has been a resident of Troutdale for over 20 years and is very well known and respected.
Dennis and his wife Gale have four biological children and seven adopted children.
Dennis has shown a longstanding love of running and track and field.

Some of his Track and Cross Country career highlights include:

9th place National AAU marathon Rochester, New York-1972
2nd place USTAF marathon at Drake Relays, Des Moine, Iowa-1972
6th place finish Boston Marathon-1973
University of Georgia Letterman in Cross Country and Track for 8 seasons
